Adopt-an-Activist
seeks to dramatically increase the impact of creative, non-violent, solutions-oriented
activism by supporting skilled, highly effective, independent activists.
The work of such organizers traditionally has been done in their spare
time with their spare change, and kept alive in spite of considerable
personal jeopardy and struggle. We believe that these independent activists
are playing an essential role in building long term movements for global
sustainability, peace, and justice, and that by supporting them, their
efforts will have tangible results. |
